Rooted in the Community

In 2007, The Speech and Language Center started with one therapist, Lora Nalberczinski, in a small orange office under a health food store. Back then, she had one goal: to meet the growing needs of families in our community.

Over the years, we’ve listened to those needs and worked hard to meet them. Today, we’re proud to serve families across Virginia at our Harrisonburg and Loudoun County clinics, offering care that’s thoughtful, inclusive, and grounded in what works. Here’s what matters most to us:

Find Answers to Your Questions

You may have questions about our services and how we can help. Here are some of the most common ones:

We work with most insurance companies, including most Medicaid insurance providers, to make therapy as accessible as possible. Please note that we’re not in network with Magellan or Molina.

Speech Therapy helps improve communication skills, like speech clarity, language understanding, and social interactions.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) uses evidence-based techniques to promote positive behaviors and support emotional regulation.

We start with a detailed evaluation to understand your needs, then craft a personalized treatment plan. You’ll always know what to expect, every step of the way.
